Sports have always played a huge role in my life. My athletic background includes years of competitive gymnastics, followed by competing at the NCAA Division I level in Track and Field. Experiencing both club gymnastics and collegiate athletics has given me a solid understanding of what it takes to perform and compete at a high level. While specializing as a Beam and Floor coach and optional-level choreographer, I enjoy blending creativity, attention to detail and strong focus on performance execution into my training. In addition to athletics, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications which has helped enhance my coaching approach. My goal is to help our gymnasts thrive competitively while building confidence, resilience, pride in their performances, and have a lasting love for the sport.

As a former competitive gymnast, I have developed a deep appreciation for the dedication, discipline, and joy the sport brings. I now channel that experience into coaching, where I love supporting athletes as they grow both on and off the mat. I thrive off of a busy schedule, alongside coaching, I am pursuing my goal of becoming a nurse, driven by a desire to help and care for others.

I grew up in San Diego county. Studied Kenisology at Sdsu. I participated in gymnastics all throughout my childhood and been coaching for 28 years, 26 of them at Oceanside Gymnastics. I have a son in middle school and an adult daughter. In my free time I like rollerskateing, hiking, going to comedy clubs, and concerts with my friends, and finding new adventures to take my son on.

I am a competitive gymnastics coach with over 15 years of coaching experience and a background as a former gymnast. I am passionate about developing strong fundamentals, confidence, and a positive team culture.

With a degree in Early Childhood Development and a lifelong passion for movement, I bring a unique blend of educational insight and athletic experience to my work as a gymnastics coach. My background helps me understand how young children learn, grow, and build confidence—both in the gym and beyond.
My coaching focuses on building solid technique while meeting each child at their individual skill level. I believe proper fundamentals create confident, capable athletes both in and out of the gym. Creating a fun, positive, and safe environment is at the heart of every class I teach. I strive to help athletes feel supported, challenged

My goal as a coach is to encourage students to grow, advance, and gain confidence in their skills. I strive to help each gymnast develop not only athletic ability, but also teamwork and a love for the sport. I enjoy working with students of all skill levels, learning styles, and personalities, which makes every class unique and fun. I look forward to inspiring and motivating my students both inside and outside the gym.

With a strong passion for working with children, I love helping kids build confidence, strength, and coordination through gymnastics. As a coach, I focus on creating a positive and encouraging environment where athletes feel supported as they learn and grow. Watching my athletes develop their skills and self-confidence is the most rewarding part of coaching for me.
