Oceanside Gymnastics event participants will explore the world of gymnastics through age appropriate games and activities including gymnastics instruction. Children will participate in many different activities including: group games, craft, bungee, and more. Our events provide children with the opportunity to build new friendships, overcome challenges, stay healthy, become physically fit, and build character.
Children will be most comfortable in athletic appropriate clothing. Elastic waist shorts or sweats, t-shirt or leotard are preferred. No spaghetti strap shirts, jeans, or pants with a belt, buttons, zippers or snaps. Please label your child's clothing. Children age 6 and under will need an extra set of cloths in case of an accident.
Please leave all electronics, music, and valuable items at home. We do not have lockers and are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Label all personal property with your childe's name, items not labeled will be held for one week then donated to a local charity.
Our events are for children ages 4 years and older and MUST be potty trained. Children will be divided into groups according to age. If there is a friend or sibling you would like for your child to be with, please email our office the week prior to your child's event. We will not be able to make group adjustments after this time. Children in different age groups requesting to be grouped together will be grouped by the youngest age. Games and activities are specifically designed for each age group.
Event registration can be made by logging onto our Parent Portal, calling or stopping by our office. Event fees and event specific registration forms are due at the time of reservation. You will receive a welcome email confirming your event dates, times.
Park in any of the designated parking spots. DO NOT stop or park at the RED curb; please keep in mind that our facility neighbors a fire station. All campers must be signed in and out by a parent, legal guardian or additional persons listed on the camp registration forms. Should it be necessary for your child to be picked up by someone not previously authorized for pick up, written notification must be either dropped off at the front office, or faxed to 760-941-0909. Notification should include child's full name, date of birth, person authorized to pick up camper and be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Identification will be needed at the time of pick up.
Refunds are available up to 30 days prior to the start of your event date. A $25 processing fee will be subtracted from your refund. There are no refunds or credits within 30 days prior to the event.
Please make sure that any medications have been given to the child prior to arrival at event. Oceanside Gymnastics will not be responsible for administering medications. Should your child have an allergy that requires an Epi Pen, please label your child's Epi Pen and check it in and out at the office during drop off and pick up.
Fun and safety are only possible when there are behavior guidelines. Children are expected to show respect for fellow gymnasts, counselors, staff, themselves, and the gym. Disruptive behavior and physical aggression are not acceptable. Our staff will use positive management tools. If a child does not respond to these methods, they will be escorted to the office for a time-out. If the problem persists, the child may be removed from the event with no refund.
Snacks and Lunch will NOT be provided, please pack healthy, peanut-free snacks and lunches.
Day camps are available on a first come first serve basis. We are unable to hold spots without payment. Children may be dropped off no earlier than 8:15 AM. Please bring plenty of water and snacks for the duration of camp. Full day campers will also need a full lunch.
Morning - 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Afternoon - 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Full Day - 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Camp weeks are not transferable within 14 days prior to camp and are based on camp availability and may only be made once without $25 processing fee.
Dinner will be included for PNO participants. We will serve cheese pizza to all children, except those who have allergies. If your child has allergies, please let the staff know and provide your child with an alternative dinner.
We will watch a movie together for the last 30 minutes. Your child is more than welcome to bring blankets and/or pillows to make their movie watching experience as comfortable as possible.
PNO spaces are available on a first come first serve basis. We are unable to hold spots without payment. Children may be dropped off no earlier than 4:45 PM.
